Apologies for the recent silence. The nest has been under occupation for a few weeks for ‘home improvement’ but all is now back to something approaching normal.

In other news, the magnificently named Bobby Power has reviewed ‘Ardea Cinerea’ for one of our favourite music website Foxy Digitalis. This was a complete surprise, hats off to Bobby Power!

Sticking with ‘Ardea Cinerea’ my copies have officially gone walkabout, so I have decided to post the original WAV files used for the tape for folks to plunder. The link can be found at the bottom of this post. I hope you dig it.

Hello,

Sadly it seems that I am destined not to receive my copies of ‘Ardea Cinerea’ due to that wonderful combination of British Customs and the Royal Mail.

At present they are ‘lost in transit’ so it seems likely that is where they will remain. Frustrating, but not the end of the world…

Apologies to those that have emailed me asking for copies – If I finally manage to track them down you will be the first to know.

Hey,

New works are in progress for Beggin’ Your Pardon Miss Joan.

It’s been a while but feels like the right time to start up again. With that in mind it also feels like a good time to post a song.

‘Avocet’ is the first BYPMJ song laid down for a while, still raw but I kinda like it this way…

Still waiting on copies of ‘Ardea Cinerea’ to arrive, and I’ll be sure to let you know when they do. Once they have gone I’ll post the record on the Guanaco ± page.

I hope to have an update on BYPMJ activity in the next week or so, got some exciting news….

Hey,

It’s been a long, long time since anything fresh has been posted on these pages, but lo and behold, I have news.

A new Guanaco ± tape has surfaced on Sweat Lodge Guru Records. ‘Ardea Cinerea’ is a 4 track e.p put together in the early stages of the year. It’s been put together beautifully as you can see…

Info can be found here although I believe that the tapes are sold out through the label, though copies will be available from me, once I have received them.

New tracks are in the works for a Beggin’ Your Pardon Miss Joan e.p and I’ll hopefully have something to share soon(ish).
